Domiciliary Medication Management Reviews (DMMR)
We’re pleased to introduce Home Medication Reviews at SMC. This service helps patients manage their medications safely and effectively - all from the comfort of their own home and fully Bulk Billed.
Our GPs work closely with accredited pharmacists to:
Review all your current medications including any vitamins or over the counter meds
Identify any potential side effects or interactions
Simplify your medication routine

Fees & Billing
At Shellharbour Medical Centre, we operate as a mixed billing practice. This means that while we offer bulk billing for eligible patients, many services will incur a private fee, which must be paid at the time of consultation.

Important Billing Information
Bulk billing is available for the following patients on WEEKDAYS ONLY
Aged pension cardholders
Disability pensioners
DVA patients
Children under 16
All other patients, including those booking telehealth appointments, will be privately billed.
All Saturday appointments are privately billed for all patients, including concession card holders and children. A $5 weekend surcharge applies.
Additional fees apply for treatment room procedures and consumables. Please confirm with your doctor or reception prior to your appointment.
Workers’ Compensation and CTP Insurance consultations are billed at SIRA rates and require upfront payment. A receipt will be provided for reimbursement.
Some services (e.g. pre-employment or insurance medicals) are not eligible for Medicare rebates. Please check with reception at the time of booking.
